Not bound by teachers’ agenda Syllabus Lesson plans Not bound by teaching materials Textbooks Not bound by syllabus specifications

Inside the Classroom Learner involvement Teacher questioning
Learners are in control of their learning. Learner investment Ex. “Just Listen” Teacher questioning Asking questions that will trigger meaningful interaction.

Outside the Classroom Learning communities
Interaction with competent speakers of the target language. Develop a habit of keeping diaries or journals. Exchange information with teachers or peers. Adapt and create new teaching materials.
