Your Turn! Introductions
What type of social media are they interested in? Are they using anything in their classrooms/teaching/work? Were they interested in the global divide part of it? If so, share the week of prayer from AIIAS; but.. Given recent developments, it’s hard to argue that social media can bridge global divide (south/north; east/west) Your Turn!

What is “social media”? Easy to create / user-generated content
Others can participate: comment, discuss, co-create Communities Sharing Interaction Web 2.0 (anyone can create) Traditional media is one to many;; social media is many to many Ask them what they think of with social media….. Then, is blogging social media? Why or why not? Is YouTube social media? Why or why not? Is WhatsApp social media? Why/why not? Are wikis social media?
