the process that breaks down rock through chemical changes.
Water – breaks down rock over time
Oxygen – combines with iron to form rust (oxidation)
Carbon dioxide – dissolves in water to form carbonic acid

11. Carbon dioxide dissolves in water to form carbonic acid that weakens limestone and marble
Will form a sink hole or cave
