1 ETHERNET SERVICE OVERVIEW

2 Dual-stack IPv6 enabled
THE BACKBONE OF YOUR BUSINESS First to rock both sides of the Atlantic 100G 1991 Est Dual-stack IPv6 enabled We own and operate one of the largest fiber-optic networks in the world. As part of the Telia group, we provide network infrastructure and services to more than 1000 customers in 80 different countries worldwide. Our IP network, AS1299, has grown from being the largest IP network in Europe to being the 2nd largest IP network in the world. The only way to keep up with the growth of the internet is through innovation. We have already carried out the world’s first 1Tb/s transmission on our US network and are working on more. Preparing today, for the network of tomorrow. We built it from the ground up TWICE

You can also choose the delivery platform that suits you – whether it is MPLS, DWDM or SDH, each with its own individual strengths.

7 ADVANCED OPTION Advanced Network Interface Device (NID) Telia Carrier managed Ethernet demarcation unit for EVPL/ELAN: Health Summary of your network Near real-time & historical view of bandwidth usage and end-to-end network performance (Bandwidth, Delay, Frame Loss, IFDV) via Ethernet Performance Portal Global end-to-end SLA NOC with visibility in the Local Tail to diagnose faults, decreasing trouble resolution time Automated characterization test for new Local Tails

135+ Ethernet enabled PoPs globally Global Managed NID coverage in 120 countries 150+ Telia Carrier Ethernet Certified Access Partners Through out partners, we can deliver local tails and CPEs in more than 100 countries. There are two options, managed layer 2 CPE under our ‘Advanced EVPL’ or ‘Advanced ELAN’ options, or unmanaged Cisco or Juniper CPE. For the unmanaged option we deliver, install and provide hardware of your choice support as well as we can load your . on the switch or router. For the Advanced options, we provide our own Ethernet demarcation device or NID (the MEF term for this type of hardware). The provides 3 key benefits. We are able to use a low cost installation engineer, and yet carry out thorough testing before site handover (e.g. testing different frame sizes at different frame sizes). Once handed over, we extract performance statistics from the managed CPE and present them on a web portal to which you are given free access. The CPE will generate alarms if there is a service outage and our NOC will contact you proactively if there is a fault and start work on the fault. All of this enables us to offer a service level agreement with performance commitments, from CPE to CPE if you take the Advanced managed CPE option.

10 Our portfolio is ideal for data centers with virtual machine environments split across sites. Migrate your Virtual Machines and their IP addresses freely between data centers using a global flat ELAN service. Our CE 2.0 certified services are an ideal platform on which to create your multi-site IP network designs. Use of Ethernet services rather than IP VPN removes the need to co-ordinate and  adapt IP addressing and QoS, supports both IPv4 and IPv6 and allows many routing protocols to run concurrently end-to-end. Secure, performance assured and dedicated bandwidth ensures the best interactive end-user experience with remote cloud-based services. A lower MRC can be achieved with the burst billing option with bandwidth headroom available when needed. FOCUS High Performance Datacenters Our Service as a Platform The Wargaming Ethernet Virtual Private Line service was delivered between Amsterdam and Shanghai for their internal video conferencing traffic. To ensure the required level of quality, Class of Service has been implemented in the backbone and seamlessly across the local access components at each end. The inclusion of a Advanced NIDs at each end ensures a fully managed Ethernet connection globally. Wargaming was so pleased with the initial service that they have followed up with an order for their main IT network comprising a global ELAN backbone and several hub and spoke EVPL ’collector’ networks delivering traffic into the ELAN service. Connectivity for Cloud

L2CP upon request Supported L3 protocols Any L3 Protocol managed by customer Supported Ethernet Frame size (DA to FCS) 4458 bytes, only restricted by local tail We can provide managed Advanced option and unmanaged CPE solutions in over 105 countries including key markets such as Central Asia. And because we own our network from end to end, we can guarantee reliability and security with end-to-end SLAs. Where we use partners our Advanced EVPL and ELAN options allow us to actively monitor 3rd party local tails that we use to extend our service.

12 CUSTOMER CASE WARGAMING
“TSIC has provided us with a cost-effective and reliable Ethernet solution that will underpin our need for dedicated, intercontinental bandwidth” Andre Reitenbach, Managing Director, Wargaming.net CHALLENGE Reliable EU-Asia Connectivity SOLUTION EVPL & ELAN with advanced NIDs & CoS BENEFIT End-to-end control SUCCESS FACTORS Quality, coverage & cost Wargaming needed reliable EU-Asia connectivity to support their fast growing gaming platform. To achieve this, they purchased an Ethernet Virtual Private Line service with our Advanced NID option. This provides them with a high quality service which is controlled end-to-end across two continents. In addition, these benefits come with the added benefit of operational cost savings.
