1 Training on Power Monitoring and Management Solution
ICP DAS Training on Power Monitoring and Management Solution [2016,01,13]

2 Power Meter Concentrator
Collect 24 power meters (include max. of 4x PM-4324) 4GB micro SD card for data logging up to six months PMC-5151 PMD-2201 (7”) Available in Dec.

3 Built-in Web-based Analysis & Report
It also supports Built-in Web Server which allows to set up parameters of the front-end power meters and view power data via browsers. It can immediately display power data in real-time trend or historical trend, also offers power data report generator function.

6 Power Meter Available Model Phase Type Loop CTs included Secondary
Signal Wire Lead Yes PM Single Phase 2 mA 1.8m PM 4 PM-3033 Three Phase 1 N/A 5A Going PM-3133P 333mV PM PM P 4m PM-4324P Single or Three Phase 24 or 8 PM P When you introduce or help clients to select power meters, here are some critical points you can refer to: 1. Phase type & loop? 2. CTs or Not? 3. What secondary signal output they need to measure? 4. The length of wire lead? If the model NAME contains “P” in the last latter, it means that it is compatible with CTs from 50 to 1200V/ 333mV output.

7 CT Inside Diameter Another key point of CTs is the inside diameter. When you recommend power meter for clients, besides the current, make sure the inside diameter of CTs must be bigger than the power line.

8 Current Transformer Selection
■ Solid Core CTs: Place over conductor prior to inserting in the breaker. Secondary output is 1A or 5A. There are three types of CTs according to the way to install them. 1. Solid Core CTs: it is 800A:5A current ratio. The secondary output signal is 1A or 5A. This type of CTs are placed over conductor prior inserting in the breaker. Normally you need to shutdown the power, split out the power line and re-run through the CTs. Solid Core CT:800A/5A

9 I ■ Clip on (Hinged) CTs:
Open the clip, place around conductor and snap closed. 2. Clip on (Hinged) CTs: it is 300A:5A current ratio. It is easy to install and very convenient. Users only need to open the clip, place around conductor and snap closed. This type of CT is included in our PM-3133-XXX, PM-3112-XXX and PM-3114-XXX series. I Easy to install

10 Difference between PM-3133-100 and PM-3033
You can figure out the difference between PM and PM-303 from this slide. PM includes a selected regular CT. PM-3033 contains a built-in CT inside the power meter and it can connect to 5A secondary output of the solid Core CT. When users do not need our selected CTs and they want to wire directly from power meter to 5A secondary output of the solid Core CT, you may suggest PM-3033 to them. PM-3033 can connect to 5A secondary output of Solid Core CT

11 Important Notice Unless a load (i.e. meters, relays, etc.) is connected to the CT, current transformers should always be shorted across the secondary terminals. The reason is very high voltages will be induced at the terminals. Secondary Side Safety Design ■ CTs comes with PM (mA signal) built-in diode to avoid high voltage introduced. ■ CTs comes with PM P (333mV signal) built-in diode and resister to avoid high voltage introduced. conform EC SELV(Safety Extra-low Voltage Circuit)

12 Flexible CTs (1000A/333mV) ■ Accuracy Under Verifying
■ Model Name not Confirmed yet 3. Flexible CTs: This type of CT is used to measure big current and the installation circumstance is difficult. It is the most expensive one among these three types of CTs.

13 Benefit of PM-4324 Monitoring max.8x 3 phase or 24x single phase, or combination of single or three phase . Easy wiring for ■ RS-485 ■ Reference Power Input ■ Power Supply 3. Directly use AC power supply Reference Power Input: Originally you may need 8 reference power inputs, but now you only need one if use PM-4324 Power Supply: Directly use AC power supply. An extra 24VDC power supply is not needed

14 An extra 24VDC power supply is not needed
To save wiring cost and installation efforts. 3P3W Mode

15 Benefit of ICP DAS solution
HW, compared to panel mounting DIN-rail mounting saves installation cost and time SW, compared to SCADA Save license fee Save time to develop Built-in function of parameter setting, smart chart and report engine, data storage and can backup to a FTP server Support complete PC webpage and simplified cell phone webpage Permissions control function to support a system administrator and five general users simultaneously log in

16 PMC-5151:Browse and monitor power data by cell phone

17 New Application Story for Semiconductor Industry
Target: FAB: Collect power information of TOP1 equipments (ie, CVD, Chemical Vapor Deposition) Parking Lot Dormitory Equipment Bought for FAB 17x PMC-5151 3x PM P, over 50x PM-3033 & PM-3133 Why choose ICP DAS Web based HMI for easy operation. (SCADA is not needed) Built-in data logger and analysis report PMC Data Server to export data to MS SQL FABRICATION
