After remembering his name, The Gladers, tell him that the only way out is through the Maze. They have been trying to find the exit for ten years but it impossible because the Maze shifts every night. It is impossible to survive a night inside the Maze because it is patrolled by the Grievers – a combination between an organic and mechanical giant kinds of scorpions.
