EV changes exposure Positive EV (+) makes lighter
Negative EV (-) makes darker

EV is measured in stops One stop up is twice the light
One stop down is half the light

EV is ONLY a shortcut It mainly changes the shutter speed.
Also changes the f/stop

When to use EV To correct for backlight
To correct if your main subject is too bright. As insurance Any time you want to quickly change the exposure…but you give up control of how it is changed.

EV stays The last EV that was set stays on the camera.

EV Assignment 3 pictures of 5 subjects (15 photos total) with the exposure mode set to P. One + EV, one – EV and one 0 EV. Label with EV, f/stop, shutter speed Use levels or camera RAW to correct any photo that isn’t properly exposed and save as a different file name,
