6 How do I know my child’s grade in your class?
Student work and assessments are posted on Aeries (MVUSD ABI). Please check there often as I update it often If there is a red blank, your child can still submit the assignment or take the assessment If there is a zero, this cannot be made up. It indicates that the deadline for submission is passed. If you see a “0.1”, your child submitted the checkpoint or other assessment, but got zero correct.

7 Where do I go to find assignments?
All assignments are posted on the class calendar on the school’s website:

8 Where are the assignments posted?
Is late work accepted? Where are the assignments posted? Late work is accepted up until the day of the scheduled test for the current module Late work needs to be corrected by student prior to submission If complete, it receives a score of 6/10 If it is between 50% and 100% complete, it will receive a score of 4/10 All assignments can be found in the classroom on the wall. They are also posted on the class calendar on the school’s website: If it is complete (all original problems copied, work shown, answers boxed; 10 points If it is between 50% and 100% done or problems weren’t shown: 7 points If an assignment is turned in with less than half done, the student will need to redo the assignment for late credit

9 Assignments & Checkpoints
Assignments (RSGs) (10 points) Checkpoints (10 points) An assignment is given just about every class; we will be moving at approximately 1 lesson per day of class Graded on effort 100% complete: 10 points 50% < x < 100%: 7 points Late 4 – 6 points A checkpoint is a quick 4 – 5 question check to determine what students have learned; it is given when an assignment is due Graded on accuracy If student is absent for checkpoint, they will receive double points on assignment, which then will be graded on effort and accuracy

10 Quizzes and Tests There are two types of quizzes In-Class (on paper)
Online (computer-based) Each module will have 1 to 2 tests; tests are always announced and posted at least 1 week before administered

11 Think Through Math (TTM)
