A Little About Me: Born and raised in Elk Grove, CA
Graduated from ASU with my Bachelors in Secondary Education: Math Interests and hobbies include: Watching and coaching sports, going to the movies, and technology.

Classroom Norms: Students must be on time for class every day
Students in their seats with their warm-up/materials on their desk Fill out agenda Start warm-up Participate in the day’s lesson LEARN!

Typical Day in Math: Warm-ups/Bellwork Grade and Review Homework
Introduction to the topic for the day (typically a short video, discussion, or activity) Note taking and guided practice Begin homework (usually 10 mins in class)

Homework Policy: Homework will not be assigned every night.
When it is assigned, it is expected to be completed and ready to review the following day Late work is accepted up until the summative test – no penalty will be given for late work Homework is practice

Absences: Student’s responsibility to make work up
Notes should be caught up using a friend / classmates notes If a homework assignment was graded while absent, please make sure to show Mr. Eres your completed assignment so it can be recorded RESPONSIBILITY!

Linear Algebra: Year at a Glance:
Formulating and reasoning about expressions and equations, including modeling an association in bivariate data with a linear equation, and solving linear equations and systems of linear equations; Grasping the concept of a function and using functions to describe quantitative relationships; Using ideas about distance and angles, how they behave under translations, rotations, reflections, and dilations, and ideas about congruence and similarity to describe and analyze two-dimensional figures and to solve problems; and Understand the statement of the Pythagorean Theorem and its converse and apply the Pythagorean Theorem to find distances between points on the coordinate plane, to find lengths, and to analyze polygons.
