5 Example 1: Export the records from iSearch
Add selected items to “Folder” for export 5

6 Choose "Direct Export to RefWorks" and then Click "Save”

7 Choose “Export to the new RefWorks”, then you’ll be asked to login to RefWorks

Try yourself Direct Export from iSearch – Journal Articles: Use iSearch from the Library homepage Search Keyword = “Japanese culture” and limit to Scholarly Journals only (Peer Reviewed) Mark any 5 records & export them to RefWorks 12

13 Last Imported Folder The result imported will always be placed in the last imported folder. If you repeat importing records, this folder will only contain the results of the very last import. All previously imported records are stored in the database, but not associated with a folder. 13

Folders > Create New Folder (subfolder) Enter Folder Name Select record(s) Put in Folder… > Select Folder Each record can be put in as many folders as you like 14

Create bibliography from all references or selected folder Bibliography created in preferred style, e.g. APA Style References arranged and sorted automatically Select the “Copy to Clipboard” to copy the bibliography 17

Simply drag-and-drop the document to RefWorks The system will try to recognize the document and fill in the reference fields 22

23 Using Write-N-Cite with Microsoft Word
Install the Write-N-Cite which is available from RefWorks web-site 23

24 RefWorks added in MS-Word after Write-N-Cite installation and then login with your RefWorks account

25 For in-text citation, click Insert Citation and select Insert New
