BUPPP Rationale Fair Work Act 2009 Changes – all unpaid internships and work experience illegal – significant impact for Bond To provide a learning framework for employability that aligns with employer expectations from graduates Provide support for Graduate Outcomes To provide recognition for the various activities Bond students undertake that add value to the Bond and broader community

Non – traditional – no credit point, no fees, no exams, classes or tutorials Spans duration of degree 13 Modules AHEG – completion of 20 points Key process – Plan, Act, Reflect (experiential learning model) Delivered via i-Learn integrating Teaching and Learning and Career Development Theory and Practice Process for new module development/activity inclusion

Feedback process with stakeholders – current enrolled students, graduates and other stakeholders Key challenges: Students tended to postpone participation due to external factors i-Learn site overwhelming and complicated Learning activities – disconnect for employability vs teaching & learning (credit) AHEG awareness – value? Pre & Post measures - incomplete
