Tutor Groups – These are vertical and are made up of about 5 students from each year group. Teaching Groups – These are mixed so that there is a variety of abilities, primary schools and gender in each class. There will be an average of 27 students in each teaching group. You will be taught in teaching groups for subjects like English, Maths, Humanities, Expressive Arts and MFL. Some subjects like Maths will set according to ability.

Lockers All students will be given a locker on arrival at Cabot. They will keep this locker for the duration of their time here. Students should only access lockers at the beginning or end of the day, at break time and lunch time. This year students will be given a brand new locker – each student will need to bring in £2 for a key. It is a good idea for students to bring a key-ring on the first day

Catering cards The canteen is a ‘cashless’ system. Students will be given a card at the start of term. Students need to credit their account in order to purchase food - Cash can be put into a machine in reception. If you prefer you can pay by cheque.
