6 We are a team! Parents are an important part of this reading team!
By reading with or to your child, you help them become better readers. Seeing parents read shows that it is fun and important. Parents and teachers want the best for the children.

7 Opinions Needed… In order to serve your child in the best way possible, we have a group of parents that meet once or twice a year to provide feedback of the Title 1 Reading program. Parents and the Title 1 teachers will discuss forms, materials, and the workings of the program. Parents will share their viewpoints and ideas of what works and suggestions of what needs to work better. We meet at a time that suits the parents’ schedule. The meeting does not last more than an hour. Parents do not have any work to do outside of these meetings. It is a time to exchange ideas and openly discuss the Title 1 Reading Program.
