Burnie Works Study Tour
Go Goldfields joined other Collective Impact communities on a tour of Burnie over three days to review their story. Burnie has similar issues to Central Goldfields and Burnie Works is a community driven initiative which has resulted in significant improvements to their community. Their goal is; Every young person to get the opportunity they desire. There are a lot of synergies between Burnie Works and Go Goldfields Collective Impact.

Burnie Works Collective Impact. - Governments cannot create change.
Outsiders cannot create change. We know the best way to create change is from within their community. We know the best solutions are those that are locally designed and implemented by the people who experience them. - Real change comes from place–based solutions 10 minutes – safe activity , meeting others, get up and move around the room. – Sandra ( Activity TBC)

Work Readiness Communication
• A place-based approach to increasing employability and work ready skills encourages local organisations to use community knowledge, evidence and partnerships to develop strategies and activities to influence the factors required to contribute to positive social change. • The best solutions are those that are locally designed and implemented by the people who experience them and the best way to create change is from within. • We will achieve this through strong collaboration between community, education, employment services and business with a key focus on raising aspirations for our community utilising a test, try and learn approach to our objectives. 10 minutes – safe activity , meeting others, get up and move around the room. – Sandra ( Activity TBC)
