4. August 5th BBQ: Be the Beaver
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR:
A. Food
1. Shoppers w/ cars for the food run on the day of the BBQ.
2. Shoppers w/ cars for the food run (non-perishables) on the day before the BBQ.
3. People to help wash and cut up vegetables and fruit on day of BBQ.
4. People to man the grill (can be in shifts of abt. an hr.)
5. People to set up snacks for the BBQ
6. People to monitor food quantities during BBQ (i.e. get additional food supplies out of freezer or fridge as needed)
B. Set-up/Maintenance/Clean-Up
1. People to clean up after the BBQ
2. People to empty trash during BBQ.
C. Activities
1. 2 people to help with Beaver Mask contest
2. 2 people to help with Beaver drawing contest
3. 2 people to help with M.I.T. Bingo
4. 2 people to help with the children's activities stations - chalk writing and arts and crafts
5. 1 person to help the Band members if they need anything
6. 1 person to help the Ballroom dance team if they need anything
7. Several people to wear the BEAVER costume - 30 min shifts.

Still negotiating a rain date with the GSC
Going to start doing paperwork next week for licenses, etc
Need more volunteers!  Requires a short training session in the morning.  Then can ride the rides (play), until event opens at 2.
