4 Types of music composed
Schubert wrote lieder, a type of German song, especially of the Romantic period, typically for solo voice with piano accompaniment. He also composed piano sonatas, symphonies and overtures but many of them weren’t completed or published because he died when he was very young

5 Famous compositions Symphony (No. 9) in C major, D 944
Licht und Liebe, D352 (Light and Love), a duet for tenor and soprano The Erlkönig, D328, Ich wollt, ich wär ein Fisch, D558 (I wish I was a fish), a poem representing someone who wishes to change to be more suitable to their loved one AND MANY MORE!!

7 Contributions After his death was when he got the recognition he deserved Wrote more than 500 vocal pieces Produced masterful works with rich harmonies and legendary melodies for a variety of genres Influenced later composers like Robert Schumann, Johannes Brahms and Hugo Wolf
