Where to find the information? Dates and Events column on the front of the UHV website. . Deadlines to add a class or drop classes in order to receive a refund. . Payment deadlines. . Financial Aid deadlines. . Registration deadlines. . Grant deadlines. . Club deadlines ( honor society etc…) Chassidy

7 Other Sources For Dates and Deadlines
Campus will keep you informed of important dates and upcoming deadlines. . Texas Academy will have dates for testing. . Dates from your courses instructors syllabus. . Deadlines from your instructor on blackboard. . You can view your class times, schedule, and room number under the my UHV online services. . You can click on students success center to get times and dates for tutoring. . I felt it was helpful to me to get a binder size calendar to put in the front of my binder with all of these dates in order to make sure I was on time for everything.

8 Tips and Tricks to Staying Organized
Make the Space Quiet comfortable space A desk where you will just work and only work Caddy with sticky notes, pencils, pens etc. Space for your books (book shelf) Good lightning Make the time/Own and agenda Arrange a schedule to include seven days of the week ( include doctor visits, birthdays and free time with the family) Devote a certain amount of time through the week for each subject Keep your schedule/ syllabus handy Use a day/monthly planner with you all the time, add and cross things off your list as you go Cliff notes to keeping up with due dates, useful organizers ect.

9 Tips and Tricks to Staying Organized
Record when you will study and for how long Record test dates Reward yourself for tasks well done ( go eat with your study group) spend time with family, or watch the news) Time yourself Start homework/projects as soon as possible Be diligent and focused on your studies Focus on your work you will understand better Use your time wisely Study 5-10 then give yourself a break Or study 45 minutes then a break Learn your study techniques, what might work for others it might, not work for you.

10 Don’t leave projects assignments that is due in a few days until the night before
