maintenance Dissassemble and replacement of FIDEGAS S/3 detector Release the cables from the connector marked with 1, 2, 3, & Earth connection. Releasing the self-blocking take out the whole set (cable + connector/s). 2. Release sensor´s connector. 3. Unscrew the filter/sensor. Do not twist the flat cable, neither hook it with other elements. 4. Electronic circuit can be dissassembled after releasing 2 subjection screws. Each filter/sensor has its own electronic circuit Do not swap sensors or circuits.

Place the connector in those non used connectors
FIDEGAS CA Quick installation guide 1. Mount on the wall the control unit (door to be opened from left to right). 2. Control unit´s bag includes the following replacements: 2 1A fuses Thermal retractable tube to isolate the detector-panel shield connection cable avoiding short-circuits Conectors It allows the correct functioning of the panel when one or more are not connected (or if they has been disconnected for revisions). Screw M-4. Electronic circuit 3. Control unit – detector connection Fuse 1A. Protect the detectors. All fault LEDs lightining up mean blowed fuse Connect: control unit-detector Isolate the shield using the thermal retractable tube and connect it to EARTH in the proper connector. Place the connector in those non used connectors

FIDEGAS CA Quick installation guide 230V CA Outputs 12V CC Outputs
Do the connection between C & NC or C & NO, being sure that the devices connected (electrovalve, contactor, siren, etc.) work at 230V and total consumption does not exceed the B fuse value of 2A. FIDEGAS CA2. Conector 230V AC PREALARM: This output its timed to activate the extraction during 2 minutes. IT SHOULD NOT ACTIVATE ALARMS Between C & NO (ALARM) Between C & NC (GAS CUT) 12V CC Outputs Do the connection between C & NC or C & NO, being sure that the devices connected (electrovalve, contactor, siren, etc.) work at 2V and total consumption does not exceed the C fuse value of 0,5A. Example of 12V output connection to an electrovalve FIDEGAS CA2. Conector 12V DC Dry contact (close contact and no powered). Between C & NC (ALARM) Between C & NO (GAS CUT) CONSIDERATIONS: When connecting 230V -or after a main fault- wait for 30 s before REARMING the system. Pay attention to the fuses capacity (mentioned in the manual) When all fault LEDs will be lightining up, check the state of the fuse ( D - E )

FIDEGAS S/3 DETECTORS testing: 1 Put the cap on the sensor head Testing bottle concentration is not suitable for calibration neither precision test. Ii is only recommended to check the detectors correct functioning. 2 Introduce cannula In the cap´s hole 3 Release gas for 2 s. to activate alarm Wait 3 s before releasing more gas as required gas concentration to activate the ALARM keeps 2 m in the mask aprox..
