“Coaching without the study of theory, the observation of demonstrations, and opportunities for practice with feedback will, in fact, accomplish very little” (Joyce & Showers, 1982, p.5). Tips and Guidelines One on one, in ear coaching is not a magic wand! four coaching components carried out with fidelity to maximize effects on teaching and learning.
