Lunch Card Machines Damage has occurred to some of the lunch card machines in the Atrium. These are very expensive pieces of equipment. If anyone has any information on how this damage has happened, please speak to a teacher. This type of behaviour will not be tolerated.

Babysitting Course Are you interested in doing a babysitting course? The course will cover: Roles and responsibilities of a babysitter Play and development First Aid Getting a babysitting job Health and safety Promoting positive behaviour Planning and delivery of some practical activities in a small group at either an after school club or at one of our crèche provisions If you are interested contact Shona Thomson in the Community Project The course will consist of 10 sessions x 2 hour and is for S3-S6 pupils

Senior Social Studies Pupils
SQA Past Papers should be delivered before the end of term. Please bring your money and see your teacher to collect them.

Skye Trip 2017 Forms and deposits for the Skye Trip should be handed in to Miss McGuire by Thursday 22nd December at the latest. Anyone interested in the trip to Skye next June can pick up a letter from Room 224 during registration.

Auditions for Dance Courses - 2017 – 2018
Edinburgh College is home to Performing Arts Studio Scotland (PASS). We offer a diverse professional training experience in our state of the art facilities. Our dance programme has a reputation for producing well rounded professionals who work across many aspects of the dance industry as dancers, choreographers and teachers here and abroad. We will be holding auditions for the following courses. NC Dance / HND Dance Monday 28th November, 10am Monday 13th February, 10am Wednesday 3rd May, 10am Tuesday 20th June, 10am BA (Hons) Dance Monday 6th February, 10am To arrange an audition Please let us know which course you are interested in and further details of audition date and requirements will be ed to you in due course. Dundee Dental Insight Courses
This unique 3 day programme will be running from 20th-22nd and 28th-30th June 2017 (pupils can attend either of these sessions, but not both) and will give S5 students the opportunity to shadow current students within the dental hospital, gain hands on experience in the phantom head room and labs, and also receive talks about the application process with current students reflecting on their experiences of applying to dental school. Eligibility To be eligible the pupil MUST: Be in S5 Be on track to achieve the minimum entrance requirements to study dentistry at the University of Dundee which can be found at Provide a suitable reference from a teacher stating why this pupil would be a good candidate for this course which should be ed directly at Show a keen interest in attending dental insight and motivation to study dentistry. Applications will be opening on Monday 6th February at 6pm and will close on Sunday 12th February at 6pm. Pupils will be chosen on a first come first serve basis. Please let your Guidance teacher know if you intend to apply.
