The Conference Speaker must begin by sharing their experience of when they were baptized by the Holy Spirit, speaking in new tongues, and the impact that had on their life.
3
Acts 2:38 "Peter said to them, “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ so that your sins may be forgiven; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
4
God’s Power Jesus gave us this precious promise: “I will not leave you orphan; I am coming to you (John 14:18).” God wants to live inside us in the power of the Holy Spirit! “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you (Acts 1:8).” The life that pleases God can only be lived by the power of the Holy Spirit in us. The Holy Spirit has begun His work here and God wants to fill you with His heavenly power!
5
The Promise “Then afterward I will pour out my spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions. Even on the male and female slaves, in those days, I will pour out my spirit (Joel 2:28-29).”
6
The Initial Evidence “All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them ability (Acts 2:4).” Just as smoke is seen when there is a fire, speaking in new tongues is the sign that we have been baptized or filled with the Holy Spirit.
7
The Initial Evidence The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is essential for the Christian life. If you try to live the Christian life without this power, it’s as if you you want to drive while having your gas tank empty. It’s impossible!
8
This gift is for all races
“ While Peter was still speaking, the Holy Spirit fell upon all who heard the word. The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astounded that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles (Acts 10:44-48).”
9
This gift is for all nations
“for they heard them speaking in tongues and extolling God. Then Peter said, “Can anyone withhold the water for baptizing these people who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?” So he ordered them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they invited him to stay for several days (Acts 10:44-48).”
10
The gift is for all those that God has called unto salvation
“While Apollos was in Corinth, Paul passed through the interior regions and came to Ephesus, where he found some disciples. He said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you became believers?” They replied, “No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.” Then he said, “Into what then were you baptized?” They answered, “Into John’s baptism (Acts 19:1-6).”
11
The gift is for all those who want to follow Jesus
“Paul said, “John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in the one who was to come after him, that is, in Jesus.” On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. When Paul had laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied— (Acts 19:1-6).”

THE GIFT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit in us It is the power to be witnesses of Jesus It is power and grace from God. It is the assurance of our future resurrection. It is the guarantee that we will ascend in the rapture. It is the seal of salvation. COME AND RECEIVE THE GIFT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
13
¿HOW DO I RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT?
1. Desire the presence of God. 2. Ask to be filled of His Spirit with all confidence. 3. Worship God freely, in a loud voice and with your hands raised. 4. Give over to God the control of your lips when you feel that you begin to worship in another language. 5. Enjoy His presence and surrender in worship when you are filled with the fire.
