Grand Friday Mosque: it dominates the skyline of Malé and it has become a symbol for the city. It was opened in 1984.
Muliaage: Is the Official Residence of the President of the Maldives”. It is located in the centre of the city, near the Grand Friday Mosque.

The official language is “divehi”, but they also speak English at hotels and many other places.

6. 5.TYPICAL MUSIC The most known music is the boduberu, a dance music.
