3 Adding Tasks Pick the course you wish to add the task

5 Adding Tasks cont… Select the “Task” button on the bottom half under “Activities”

6 Adding Tasks cont… Create a title of the task (Fall rhythm assessment, SoMi, My Aunt Came Back…) Click on “Show more options” on bottom of screen Under “Assess and evaluate” options, select “Assess task with an assessment scale” An assessment tab will appear. Click on it and select “SBGB -PERFORMANCE(4-1) Click Save

8 Exporting “Tasks” to other courses (classes)
Click on the folder that has the task you wish to copy and export to another class

Check the box to the left of the task you wish to select Click the “Action” drop down and select “Copy to”

Select the course (class) Select “Copy” and done!

Click on “Settings” on left panel Select “Learning objectives”

Click on “Create” button Add a title (Rhythm Assessment Standards, Singing, Movement…) Click on the “Save” button

Select the Learning Objective you just created Click the “Assessment Criteria” button 2nd 1st

Add criteria

15 Fill out criteria based on a four-point scale and click “Close” when done.

Select the task Click the options button and select “Edit” Options Task Edit

Select “Show more options” at the bottom Select “Add learning objectives” Select the learning objective you wish to add to this task Select the “Insert and close” button

A dropdown will now appear under Learning objective assessment that says “Do not use” Click the dropdown and change to “Assessment criteria” Click “Save” and finished!

19 Gradebook - Activating “Tasks”
Select any task you have created on the left panel Select “Make available” This task is now added to the grade book Task

20 Gradebook - Deactivating “Tasks”
Select any task you have created on the left panel Select “Make unavailable” Tasks are made unavailable by default, so this only works with tasks that have been made available This task is now removed from the grade book

21 Exporting Gradebook to excel
Select “Follow-up and reports on the left panel Select Gradebook under the Follow-up section

Click on the options button Select “View in Excel” Your gradebook is now available in Excel for editing and printing Options

Con: Not user friendly when getting started, creating tasks and assignments can be redundant
