Exercise: Logistics Assessments
Each group to consider one of the below pieces of critical logistics infrastructure that you need to assess following a major emergency. Review the Rapid Assessment Checklist for that piece of infrastructure (see handout). In your groups: discuss and prepare a 2 minute briefing for the rest of the class outlining: The critical steps in the assessment process; The key questions that need to be answered. 10 minutes to read/discuss 2 minutes to present Optional: depending on team make-up can also do this exercise with four teams, including the fourth category below.
