Over 80% of Gen X, Y, and Teens are online as of early All use although younger generations tend to prefer IM/texting. Biggest chunk of Facebook users are in the cohort. Recent study showed Gen Y as most comfortable with online and mobile experiences. Same study shows Gen Y as most likely to shop online.
