When do I forgive? God forgives upon repentance (Luke 13:3,5; Acts 2:38; 8:22) When we approach our brother and he repents (Matthew 18:15-17) Notice that the offending must be given ample opportunity We must do our full duty, not the bare minimum When our repentant brother approaches us (Matthew 18:21-22; Luke 17:3-4) We must note that repentance is not just words (Matthew 3:8; Acts 26:19-20)

Applying principles Humility Love
We must not think of ourselves more highly than we should (Romans 12:3) We must humbly look to the interests of others (Philippians 2:3-5) This is the example Christ offers (Philippians 2:5-8) Love We must love and bear with one another, maintaining our bond and unity in the Spirit (Ephesians 4:1-3) This is to be characteristic of God’s children (1 John 4:7-21)
