8. Proverbs 28:13
“He who conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will find compassion.” John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

9. Confess your sin to the person with true repentance, sincerity and humility. Define your sin factually and briefly. No blame-shifting, excuses or minimizing. Don't just say, "I'm sorry“. Don't let the offended person minimize the matter. Mention your plan for not repeating this sin.
