Youth Empowerment and Innovation Project - YEIP London – Kick off meeting – th April 2017

2 Aims and objectives of the WP
To maximise the impact and reach of YEIP’s results. To communicate and disseminate knowledge produced by the project. To ensure YEIP’s sustainability and exploitation. To establish relationships with existing pan-European and international networks and forums. The role of the Youth Advisory Board in WP5 is: To ensure that messages addressed to their peers are youth friendly and in appropriate language.

3 Activity 5.1 Communication and Exploitation Strategy (IARS)
A comprehensive Communication and Exploitation Strategy will be developed, outlining the proposed communication, dissemination and exploitation activities (D5.1). The strategy will outline the objectives of all communication and exploitation activities and key messages and channels that will be used to achieve these objectives. A stakeholders mapping exercise will also take place in each country: all partners to map their stakeholders . The list will be incorporated in the Strategy

4 Activity 5.2 Development of YEIP’s Brand Identity (ANS)
ANS will develop the YEIP’s brand identity: YEIP’s logo Various HTML templates that will be used for project’s newsletters, flyers, reports and publications, agendas, presentations etc. By (Complete) Anziani

5 Activity 5.3 Website (ANS)
The website will feature the project description and objectives, partner profiles, practical results, awareness raising material, events and opportunities for involvement. 6 Activity 5.4 YEIP’s network development
YEIP’s website will also have an integrated database that will be used as an international network of relevant stakeholders and young people. We aim to have over 5,000 subscribers by the end of the project who will receive regular updates. All partners to promote the network through their contacts

7 Activity 5.5. Production of 2 webinars for young people and professionals (IARS)
We will use YEIP’s results to develop 2 webinars that will be hosted on the YEIP website: 1 addressed to young people – this one will be designed in partnership with IARS Youth Advisory Board and will be used to communicate project findings, raise awareness about the risks and consequences of radicalisation activities and promote positive anti-radicalisation messages and safeguarding options. 1 addressed to professionals – it will incorporate an audio-visual version of YEIP’s final results informing about YEIPs’ model and state of the art “Prevent” approaches across Europe. Webinars will be produced in English and a subtitles option in all partner languages will be provided.

8 Activity 5.6 International Conferences (ANS / IARS)
We will host two international Conferences (D5.4). An opening conference in Italy (by P10) and A closing conference in the UK (by P1). The conferences will be attended by 100 key stakeholders each from research, policy and practice and young people from across Europe. The events will be filmed and will become available as webinars to the broader national and international community that will be hosted on YEIP’s project website.

9 Activity 5.7. Final report and YEIP PREVENT model (IARS)
The project will integrate all its findings from WP1, 2, 3 and 4 into one consolidated report. A comparative section will bring the findings together providing analysis at the national and EU level. It will also include a conclusion in relation to the effectiveness of the YEIP Prevent model as well as recommendations for implementing the YEIP policy measure for a bottom-up prevent approach to youth radicalisation using the GLM. The report will be annexed with the YEIP PREVENT model which will take the form of a tested toolkit with case studies and referral sources.

10 Monitoring of all dissemination activities
All dissemination activities should be recorded and related evidences collected ANS will provide a template to record performed dissemination activities – they will be collected on a 6 months-basis and a report will be produced.

11 Attention!! We have a contractual obligation to always use the European emblem (the 'EU flag') and the name of the European Union spelled out in full in all communication and promotional material. The preferred option to communicate about EU funding through the Erasmus+ Programme is to write 'Co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union' next to the EU emblem. Examples of acknowledgement of EU funding and translations of the text are available at The brand name of 'Erasmus+' shall not be translated. Guidelines for beneficiaries on the use of the EU emblem in the context of EU programmes are available at

13 1° international conference – IT Discussion points
ANS and Regione Liguria will organize the conference in Modena, in cooperation with Modena University Law School (associated partner) According to the project plan the conference should take place in December 2017 Can we move it to November of February 2018 to avoid Christmas holidays? According to the project plan we expect 80 national and 20 international participants from research, policy and practice and young people (at least 2 from each partner country). Should we open a call for abstracts or should we just look for speakers within the partnership?
