4 Stating possession These are adjectives, so gender and number matter.
If referring to one thing, use singular form, if referring to multiple things, use plural form Mi familia, mis hermanos His class- su clase, his classes- sus clases For ‘nuestro,’ gender also matters Nuestra familia Nuestros hermanos Nuestra clase Nuestro curso

5 Pausa… Tell your shoulder partner: Take turns
1. Mi clase favorita es_______. 2. Mi clase más aburrida es ______. 3. Mi clase más divertida es ____. 4. Mi clase más difícil es _______. 5. Mi clase más fácil es _______. 6. Mi clase más interesante es ___.

6 Stating possession Su/Sus means his, her, your (formal) or their.
Both mean all of them Their house- su casa His book- su libro Her brothers- sus hermanos Their money- su dinero Their classes- sus clases Before you can use this, you have to establish who you are talking about.

7 Stating possession In English, to indicate a particular person owns something, we add ’s to the word or name. Juan’s book The school’s principal In Spanish, THERE IS NO “ ‘S ”. Instead, you turn the phrase around: The school’s principal/The principal of the school – El director de la escuela My mom’s friend/The friend of my mom. El amigo de mi madre. My family’s house/The house of my family. La casa de mi familia.

8 Pausa… Talk to your face partner about your classes:
