From the editor of database, it is possible to create an items bank which can, afterward, be exploited. Files in RTF format then created must be completed by means of the software Word from information available on the tests and accompanying relevant documents. Here is the procedure to follow in order to create a test.

Choice of the directory

Activate one or several banks

Save the content of one or several banks

Browse or select an item
6 By moving on the line number occupied by every item, it is possible to view or to select an item.

8 Order items 8 By pressing the button "Choose/Sort Items", a window is opened in order to choose selected items in the test in preparation as well as their order of display. To do so, it is necessary to move wished items from the left side to the right side.

Save or clear the structure
9 9 Save or clear the structure 9 Two buttons allow on one hand to save the structure of the test for a future use or on the other hand to erase the present structure in order to prepare another test.

10 Create the test 10 An items bank can contain, for each item, information with regard to three documents associated to a test: i) the student’s booklet; ii) the administrative guide; iii) the marking guide. At the time of the creation of the test, the user can retain one or another planned section or all documents associated to the test. He also has to supply a title to the test and identify the file which will contain the test.

Examination of the test
11 After having pressed the button "Create the Test" the report on the test displays. It is then possible to edit this Word document and to save it under another name and in "doc" or "docx" format.

The window “Automatic Selection” allows to choose automatically items.
