Function:Secretes hormones & regulates body growth.
Endocrine System Function:Secretes hormones & regulates body growth. Structures:Glands: adrenal-adrenaline(fight or flight), thyroid, pancreas.

Excretory System Function: Rids the body of waste. Structure: Integumentary (sweat), digestive (poop), respiratory (exhale carbon dioxide),& urinary (pee).

Urinary System Function: Balance fluid levels in the body. Rids the body of liquid waste, by filtering the blood. Structure: Kidney, bladder, ureters, urethra

Reproductive System Structure: Ovaries, testes, vagina, and penis Function: reproduce / survive

Respiratory System Function: Supply body with oxygen by breathing. Gets rid of carbon dioxide. Structure: Nasal cavity, trachea, bronchi, lungs, alveoli, diaphragm

Circulatory System Function: Transport material around the body including oxygen and nutrients. Structure: Heart, veins, arteries, capillaries and blood.

Digestive System Function: Break down food and absorb nutrients the body needs. Structure: Mouth, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, and anus.

Skeletal System Function: Structure, support, protection, stores calcium, makes red blood cells, and aids in movement. Structure: Bones,Joints cartilage, & ligaments.

Muscular System Function: Gives body shape and aids in movement. Structure: Muscles and tendons

Lymphatic System (Immune)
Function: Helps body stay healthy by fighting off germs, diseases, and micro-organisms. Structure: Lymph glands,Spleen

Integumentary System (SKIN)
Function: Regulates body temperature, sensory response, rids body of waste and protection. Structure: Skin and sweat glands, Hair, Nails.

Nervous System Function: Controls thinking, senses and regulates homeostasis. It also controls all of your body’s automatic functions such heart rate, breathing, and digestion. Structure: Central Nervous System: brain and spinal cord; Peripheral Nervous System: sensory organs and nerves.

Homeostasis The ability to maintain a relatively constant internal environment. Things that the body must regulate: Oxygen Nutrients & water Waste Temperature
