1 Study of Sun-Earth relation contribution of CLIMSO
Laurent Koechlin, IRAP OVGSO

2 The coronagraph dome during CLIMSO implementation

3 Inside the dome The four instruments of CLIMSO on the same equatorial mount: two coronagraphs (on H-α, He I) and two telescopes (on H-α, Ca II) Images of the photosphere and low corona (down to immediate contact with photosphere)

4 1 minute frame rate in each
Acquisition and guiding system 4 channels 2k 2K frames 1 minute frame rate in each 5 to 9 hours/day control room Diffractive optics for the objective of the new guiding system control panel

5 Instruments control and data acquisition

6 Contributions to the data bases
Approx 1 To of images per year Data available immediately, and freely downloadable "all year long" and real time survey of : - Solar photosphere - Solar eruptions in H-alpha CME immediate warning Scientific program defined in concertation with PNST

7 Data available at http://bass2000.bagn.obs-mip.fr/base/sun/index.php

8 Future plans Scheduled for operation in 2014 Scheduled for 2013:
Calibrated data for solar photosphere Scheduled for operation in 2014 L3 solar telescope : Polarization (2 Stokes parameters on 2k 2k pixels) n-line high spectral resolution for coronal radial velocity Improved tracking, contrast, and angular resolution. Scheduled for operation in 2016 Collaboration with Spain and Italy C3 coronagraph : Polarimetrey and velocimetry on spectral lines such as Fe XIII Long term survey on Ca II, He-I and H-alpha (several solar cycles)
