1. Carnival Cruise Best Of & Scavenger Hunt Contests
Objective: Get customers to share the Carnival celebration via a contest including a scavenger hunt executed via Twitter and Instagram.
Mechanics:
There were two events that Carnival Cruisers could participate in while they are on board the Carnival Triumph Ship:
For this promotion there were seven locations on the ship, each referencing a location specific hashtag.
In the Best Of Contest entrants needed to visit one of the locations and post the photo on Twitter or Instagram and include the corresponding location.
In the Scavenger Hunt contest entrants were asked to visit all seven (7) Locations and upload a photo at each of the seven (7) Locations on Instagram.
Entries were judged to determine the "Best of" and "Scavenger Hunt" winners.
Prizes: Best of Prizes included WiFi and Carnival onboard credits and gift baskets. Scavenger Hunt Finaslists received WiFi and onboard credit. The Scavenger Hunt Grand Prize winner received a 8-day/7-night Carnival Cruise for two.
