Being Given an Opportunity
MK College Leadership Academy StreetGames LIONS RAW Through perevious experiences of volunteering at a range of events through college and Sportzone Academy. I have had the opportunity to take part and volunteer in Street Games which is an organisation set up aiming to get more people involved in sports. From going events which they have put on such as the CopperBox, Residentuals, and confrenceses. They have offered the College a life time experience to take three of us out to Brazil during the World Cup to volunter on the Lions Raw Prodject. Lions Raw is ……

Our whole team experienced many emotions whilst being interviewed for the Games maker role… Our whole team experienced many emotions whilst being interviewed for the Games maker role…be it excitement, sadness or nervousness. Tell story of the “audition per say”

Improvisation Team building Problem solving Just having fun Who could make the tallest building using celotape, newspapers and bluetac Then putting together a 1-2 presentation on the Olympic thing, faster, higher , stronger :/ at first I thought it was going to be long especially if you don’t know the true meaning of volunteering Accepting criticism

What I have gained from being a part of the Olympics
Friendship Being responsible Working together how its branched my opportunites How I respect people who do voluntary work Im always looking for voluntary work that I know I can put 110% into and that also looks like a lot of fun

Competitions We have 4 competitions a year at synchronised swimming.
There are many people volunteering and giving up their free time to help with the competitions. Many people volunteer because they could be interested in synchronised swimming and helping out.

My View of Volunteering
I volunteer to coach synchronised swimming, Unpaid work. Gain experience for their future career Committed Wanting to help the club I coach because I enjoy synchronised swimming also I want to be a teacher and with experience of coaching it shows that I am working with people and shows that I am willing to volunteer for it to give me experience.

Many different ways of playing the game, results in multiple clubs/facilities that hold sessions which involves many different ranges of disabilities.
