Initial estimates are always low. BI requirements change faster than what IT can keep up with. Conventional SDLC approaches are poorly suited for BI. Deployment efforts don’t often take into account: Growing and ever-changing requirements. Growing user base. Growing breadth, depth, volume, and complexity.
