Developing Partnerships-Initial Steps
Review your library’s strategic plan, mission statement or vision statement Know your existing stakeholders in your library jurisdiction Government Agencies Schools Local Businesses Civic Organizations Analyze your strategic plan and look Lunch at the Library February 2nd, 2017

Developing Partnerships- Investigate Resources
Financial (Friends groups, Grants, Chamber of Commerce, Service Groups) Co Locations (Library, School Site, Park, Community Center) Established Collaboratives Volunteers (Teens, Seniors, Starbucks/Kohls employees) Investigate resources that will enhance your lunch program early in your planning process. Utilize and exhaust all resources. Space may be an issue depending on your library. If this is an issue, and a school or park is offering a lunch program, take your program off site. Volunteers- Teens (Community Service Hours/Paid Internships via Youth Opportunity Centers, Seniors, Starbucks and Kohls employees who volunteer Lunch at the Library February 2nd, 2017
