1 The happy family. H.C. Andersen.

2 What is it about? It’s about a snail family.
The parents adopt their kid. They live under dock leafes. The flies helps finding a wife to the kid. The snails dream about being boiled and served on a silver plate.

3 A little part of the story.
Really, the biggest green leaf in this country is a dock-leaf. If one holds it, it is like a whole apron. And if one holds it over one's head in rainy weather, it is almost as good as an umbrella because it is so huge. The plant never grows alone, but together with other dock-leafs. It is a great delight and it is snails’ favourite food. The big white snails which were considered delicacies by nobles, ate it and said, "Hem, hem! How delicious!”. They thought it was so delicate and great.

4 Antagonisms. Poor and rich. Some snails have more space than others.
MAGIC NUMBERS. At the start there is 3 snails.

5 Facts. Made by Gustav and Linus. Pictures found on google.
The story is 4 sides of A4 paper. We don’t know the spicies of the snails. At first the snails ask the ants for a wife. Find the story here: on clioonline.dk.
