Class covers 7th grade NJ Core Standards Math Programs used: In 8th grade, students will either be placed in Algebra 1 or Introduction to Algebra

7 Supplies needed for class
A composition notebook A three ring binder divided into two sections: handouts/notes and homework A folder for quizzes and tests Plenty of lined paper Pencils- All math work must be done in pencil Ink- Marking pens for correcting Planner

8 Grading Policy Grades will be determined using a point system. All tests/ quizzes/ projects will be given a point value. The number of points received divided by the total possible points will be the numerical grade.

9 Homework Homework is an essential part of this class. It will be checked daily. An honest effort is expected. If a student can’t do a particular problem, I ask them to circle the problem so I can make sure to review it with them.
