3 Before submitting your PD application
Discuss all PD opportunities with your HT and seek approval to apply. Applications for PD courses must align with your PDP goals for 2016. Be sure to justify your reasons for wishing to attend a course.

4 After submitting your application
You will immediately receive an automated that your submission is pending review. Within 48 hours you should receive an from Paul confirming the status of your application – ie Approved / Denied / Frozen. Be sure to read this clearly as it contains all the necessary information for further processing and dissection number for payment of casuals. Complete an Online Casual Cover form and provide Trudi with the correct dissection code as provided in the from Paul. Mistakes here can be costly!!!!!

6 Common TPL related questions
Question - I would like to attend a course on day that I don’t work. Can I attend and will I get paid for this day? Question – I used my car to travel to a course. Will I be compensated for my fuel costs?

7 ‘Paul’ Days and 250s ‘Paul’ Days have been created as a result of unfilled vacancies. The number of days varies each year. Paul Days come from the 250 pool Paul Days must result in educational outcomes for our students. Paul Days are different to Snr Discretionary
