Our Strategies • Create and utilize a friendship model that builds a membership base that values diversity, embraces member talents, and develops leaders. ~ From the Strategic Plan, p. 10

5 Membership Goals and Strategies
Goal 1: Increase intergenerational member satisfaction within the organization by 5% over the baseline as established in recent surveys within 18 months, in order to increase member engagement as reflected on chapter, area and national implemented measures of satisfaction and engagement. (Note - this is not limited to surveys but includes participation in chapter activities, friendship activities, etc.) Strategy 1: Assess members to determine areas to address to increase levels of satisfaction. Strategy 2: Incorporate intergenerational buddies within chapters to assist with member bonding.

6 Membership Goals and Strategies
Goal 2: Increase retention of members as evidenced by reduction in membership forfeitures and resignations by 2% each year through 2018. Strategy 1: Increase intergenerational satisfaction among members by member feedback on satisfaction and engagement. Strategy 2: Align the payment of national assessments with the payment of national and chapter dues. Strategy 3: Implement efforts to remind members of assessments as early as possible and include those chapter and area officers relevant to membership and financing.

7 Membership Goals and Strategies
Goal 3: Increase membership numbers in the under 40 demographic by 2% in Program Year 2015, by 3% in Program Year 2016, and by 4% in Program Year 2017. Strategy 1: Work with Chapters, through the Area Vice Directors and Chapter Vice Presidents to increase the number of candidates under 40, specifically, 2 or more per intake period. Strategy 2: Begin a pipeline process for younger members, including Heir-O-Links and friends of Heir-O-Links to be identified and exposed to chapters in The Links, Incorporated.
