SO 3.2 of the Danube Transnational Programme covers a niche area related to smart energy distribution, storage and transmission systems and distributed generation from renewable sources:
Development of smart grids and integration of RES
Regional energy planning and distribution
Security of energy supply through a better exploitation of RES
Development of specific installations, prototypes or technologies
Implementation of actions solely aiming the alignment to specific standards, directives or local commitments
Indirect approaches (energy efficiency through awareness raising actions/ training of energy managers)

DTP SOs show direct links to EUSDR PAs, however, not all 12 EUSDR PAs are equally reflected by the DTP due to the thematic concentration.

Maximum project duration – 12 months
Total allocation of the Call is up to 1,530, euro (EU contribution - 85%)
Maximum project budget: 50, euro
The 1st seed money call budget is based on real costs

EUSDR PACs will provide Declarations of Alignment
Maximum 3 projects per Priority Area will be selected according to the ranking list
The threshold for selection is set to 65%
