GET OUT YOUR BIOMOLECULE SHEET AND HAVE IT ON YOUR DESK WHERE I CAN SEE IT. In your comp. book on page 5create a table that looks like the one below, make it pretty large, like the whole page… Also make a T.O.C (table of contents) entry for pg. 5 ‘Bio-Molecules Share-out’
2
Expert Team Ms. C will put you in expert groups…this means that you guys researched the same bio-molecule. Each person needs to share their information from their vocab sheet. If a person has something on their sheet that you didn’t have on yours or if yours was incorrect, add it to the appropriate column in your comp book.
3
YOUR HOME GROUP Back at your regular group, go around and share to about your bio-molecule (you can also use information you learned from your expert group). Each person needs to include these things in your empty bio-molecule columns…. 1. The name of the monomer for that bio-molecule, 2. the function, 3. one of the facts they shared about it, 4. and what they compared it to and why. If your group is missing a person with a particular bio-molecule, I have a remedy.
4
Put your Biomolecule map in your comp book on page 6 add a TOC entry ‘My Bio-Molecule Map’
