Purpose Support the communities living closest to the wind farm RCT: Gilfach Goch, Tonyrefail, Thomastown, Llanharan, Bridgend: Blackmill, Evanstown, Bryncae & Heol Y Cyw

Criteria: who can apply Any community or voluntary group To support them to: carry out the aims and objectives of the organisation (community benefit), recruit new members, involve more people from the community, help to develop your group. Only one application per funding round. Submitted report from previous grant ? ? ?

Criteria: what you can apply for Purchase of equipment (capital) Help with running costs (revenue) Up to £500 E.g. Play equipment, IT equipment, stationery, phone and broadband connections, training, the cost of a community event or visit. Used as match funding

Assessment: what do we look for? Is the applicant a local group? How the project will benefit your group? How will the project benefit your community and are the benefits clear? Will the project help your group to encourage new members and involve more people from the community? Is the project value for money? Quotes? Is there a clear timescale for the project? What additional support is needed?

Important Dates: Deadline 5pm on Friday nd June 2017 The Assessment Panel within 1 week Groups notified week starting rd July 2017 (If you are unsuccessful, we will explain our decision to you in writing and offer to meet with you to discuss other sources of funding.) Signed grant offer letters received by th July 2017 Projects delivered between 24th July – 2nd March 2018 Final project reports completed by th March 2018 Any group not submitting a final report will be ineligible for future rounds…
