7 How do you cite a source on the project. There are two options
How do you cite a source on the project? There are two options! Either is fine. Cite through paraphrase… According to the website for the organization Born Free USA, “Circuses, where animals are forced to perform for profit and entertainment. Elephants, tigers, primates, bears, and other animals are denied a natural life for the sake of this bizarre and exploitative spectacle.” OR Cite using parenthetical citations… …Using an author’s last name According to a TIME magazine article, “How Much Does Animal Testing Tell Us?,” research scientists “really do attempt to determine the species that will most accurately mimic how the compound would work in a human” (Blue). …With the title of a work (when an author’s name is unknown) To further this point, according to former National Cancer Institute Director Dr. Richard Klausner, as quoted in the website, “We have cured mice of cancer for decades, and it simply didn’t work in humans” ("Animal Experiments: Overview"). Reminders: Failure to cite all 3 sources often will result in a poor grade! Don’t forget to have a “Source List” on the project itself!

8 Animal Testing & Experimentation
Animal Testing Facts Pros Cons Alternatives to Testing Reason #3 w/ paragraph Animal & Human Systems Reason #1 w/ paragraph Cruel & Inhumane Methods Reason #2 w/ paragraph Works Cited Claim: Animal Testing benefits some humans and animals, but the test subjects pay the ultimate price with their lives after a life of torture.
