1 Friends had looked out for a house for us, but nothing had been available within our budget and area.  Minutes before they began the heavy lifting, he had a call to say that a house he had seen and liked, but that had been a bit pricey had been agreed for us.  The landlord had come down on the price and they could put our furniture straight into it.  Those of you who've moved house yourselves, will appreciate how good that was.  The timing was perfect. Chris will stay on in Nepal and we'll join him shortly.  We're excited to get back, though sad to leave everyone in the UK again. Whilst it was good news for us, not all the INF visas were approved, so our friends and colleagues continue to wait and we pray for them and for wisdom in the negotiations that Chris will be involved in. THANK YOU for your prayers and encouragement, Debbie and Chris Church Meeting You are warmly invited to join us for our quarterly church meeting this Thursday, the 24th November at 7.45pm at the Riches, 86 Potternewton Lane. Adventurers We are looking for someone to join the team and help lead Adventurers once a month or less. Please speak to Rachel Hirst or Hannah Ford for more information or are interested in joining the team Potential new church venue We have been exploring the possibility of other Sunday morning venues around Chapel Allerton as we are becoming more restricted for space in the primary school.  The most promising option is the Potternewton Centre, on Scott Hall Road (diagonally opposite Scott Hall Leisure Centre). The Centre is a day care facility during the week and is in the process of being refurbished with a large meeting hall, a kitchen and a number of classrooms which would work well for our Children's work. Please consider and pray about this as a potential new church venue. Set up in November - Lis Farquhar Set up in December – Dave Herringshaw Please note that we are not allowed to use the equipment in the lower playground and that any children playing there must be supervised by an adult. Thank you! SUNDAY 20th november 2016 Today Mark Baxby will be leading our worship. After the break we will be continuing our series entitled ‘Emotionally Healthy Church’. Mark Prothero will be speaking to us on ‘Being Content and Staying Well’. Welcome to Chapel A THIS COMING WEEK Tuesdays at 11am in the church office - a short prayer meeting with the staff and whoever would like to pray for Chapel A. Housegroups generally meet on Monday, Tuesday and alternate Thursday evenings. Please see notice board in corridor. Tuesdays - Totally Tuesday for Years 5-7, pm in Chapel All. Methodist Hall. Wednesday – WOW youth group for Years 8+ in Chapel Allerton Methodist Hall. Please contact Hannah Dey on or about any of our usual groups for young people. CiTP Heavy Mob We need able bodied volunteers to help with set up and take-down for Carols in the Park on the 11th of December. This is a really crucial job that needs a critical mass of people to make it workable. Set-up will be approx. 9am-11.30am and take-down approx. 6pm-8pm. If you can volunteer for either, your assistance will be greatly appreciated (and compensated with high-carb foodstuffs). Please James Bell (site manager) at stating your availability, a contact phone number and your doughnut preferences. Update From the Drews We heard on Tuesday that our visas have finally been approved by the Nepali Government, so we are free to return and work. Just a week ago we had neither a house nor visa; now we have both.  Thank you God. Chris actually returned to Nepal last week on our remaining 2 weeks of tourist visa for 2016 to pack up our house (the landlord needs it back), to store our stuff and attend meetings about the future direction for INF.  Many friends helped him pack and move stuff.  Last Saturday they moved our personal belongings and Sunday was the big furniture moving day.  Send newsletter notices and news to or phone the church office on Thursday is the cut-off for any notices for that Sunday’s news-sheet. Our new office address is First Floor, 126 Harrogate Rd, Chapel Allerton, Leeds LS7 4NZ. The ministers of the church are Simon Hall ( ) and Robin Thomson ( ).
