Characteristics of the movement:
Products should be simple and functional.
Form follows function (function before form).
Use of natural materials , not synthetic.
Influenced Bauhaus and Modernism, due to simplistic design.
Skilled labour, instead of machine usage.
Pride in craftsmanship.
Many products are very expensive.
