Learning Intentions - Today, I am going to address these College Readiness Standards in English: Conventions of Punctuation 13-15 Topic Development in Terms of Purpose and Focus 20-23 Organization, Unity, and Coherence 24-27 Conventions of Punctuation 24-27 Word Choice in Terms of Style, Tone, Clarity, and Economy 28-32 SQUADS Success Criteria – I will know I am successful if I can: delete commas that create basic sense problems determine the relevancy of sentence-level details determine the correct transitional word to create logical connections use apostrophes to indicate singular possessive nouns use apostrophes to indicate plural possessive nouns correct redundant phrases
