Villagers’ preference/ criteria of preference/ attitude on particular item is revealed
e.g. for varieties of crops/vegetables, breeds of livestock, fish species, tree species, irrigation methods etc. Also choice for vocations/occupation, food, fuel, fodder, energy-use etc.

In a PRA session, allow farmers / target group members to sit down and enlist their preferences/ criteria of preferences/ on a particular item

Scores may be decided and a comparative matrix made out be them and scores may be assigned in consensus to rank the choices Extension personnel present may note their opinions and statements regarding their attitude
