1. What is Model United Nations?
AKA M.U.N or Model U.N.

2. Hundred of thousands of High Schools across the country participate in MUN.
It’s a club at an international level, and expands further than just Middle and High Schools to Universities.

3. Students typically role-play delegates to the United Nations and simulate UN committees.
As a team we compete in various conferences throughout the year (ex. OCMUN, FIMUN, etc…).
At the end of most conferences, outstanding delegates in each committee are recognized and given an award certificate.
The Best Delegate in each committee, however, receives a gavel.

Help you develop your researching, public speaking, debating, and writing skills
As well as critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership abilities
As a team, as a family, we can help each other grow not just as delegates but as people too.

6. In order to insure that certain tasks are taken care of, the United Nations organizes into committees and councils that tackle specific topics.
Here at M.U.N., we model their behavior!
Joining a committee means that you’re most interested in working on those types of activities.
You can still work/ participate in any activity you like.
