BAIRA is the only Association of all the 786 Private Sector
Recruiting Agencies of Bangladesh. The Primary objectives of BAIRA are: to look after the welfare of its members to promote good Recruitment Practices to ensure professionalism in the trade to promote safe migration and to ensure the rights & privileges of the expatriates.

To procure genuine Demand Letters DIRECTLY from genuine Employers.
BAIRA has taken and shall take further initiative in promoting GOOD Recruitment Practices which may be summarized as follows: To procure genuine Demand Letters DIRECTLY from genuine Employers. To enhance Negotiating Skill of the member Recruiting Agencies to have a better deal from employers. To give priority to procure Demand Letters for Professionals, Skilled and Semi-skilled workers in place of less-skilled workers. To encourage member Recruiting Agents to invest their earnings to set-up Technical Training Centers to develop skilled workforce for overseas employment.

To avoid middlemen in Demand Procurement. To obtain attestation from our Mission abroad for verifying the genuineness of the Demand and of the employers. To obtain Recruitment Permission from Bureau of Manpower, Employment & Training (BMET) of the Government. To avoid middlemen/sub-agents for recruitment. To recruit workers from the Data Bank of workers administered by the BMET.

If needed, to advertise in the newspapers for direct recruitment. To notify similar category of expatriates, as far as possible, to recruit their ex-colleagues directly. To give priority for recruitment of returnee migrants. To recruit right workers for the right jobs.

· To extend Pre-Recruitment Briefing to the candidates about
Terms & Conditions of Employment. The country of employment. City/place of employment. Name of the Employer. Nature of job. Salary, overtime, allowances etc. Holidays, Vacations. Labor Laws, culture, customs, traditions, food style, language etc of the country of employment. Years of contract. Total expenses of migration. Time-frame needed for visa processing and expected date of departure.

Recruitment after verbal and/or Trade Test.
To arrange medical check-up from a reliable Medical Check-up Clinic. Visa stamping. To purchase air-ticket with confirmed seat. To send workers to BMET for pre-departure Briefing. To obtain Immigration Clearance from BMET.

To issue Money Receipt for each & every transactions.
To confirm the Employers about the flight schedule of workers with solid arrangement to receive and transport the workers on arrival. To brief the workers about traveling in an aircraft, on-arrival formalities etc. Dispatch the workers and to depute one of the experienced staffs to assist the workers at the airport. To send the final and Fax to the Employers about the Departure and Arrival time of workers in order to receive and transport the workers on arrival.
